We are thrilled to announce that our brand new EP, Bide Your Time, is set to be released on October 13 on Latent Recordings!

This album features another stellar collection of six new songs, including “Just Another Lucky Day.” When you listen to it, you’ll hear the echoes of our early recordings, and it brings back so many incredible memories for us. Another song on the album, “One Song at a Time,” is a deeply personal tribute to our dear friend Dallas Good of The Sadies.

“These songs carry a common mood that is somewhere between wistful and contemplative. The architecture of these stories allowed us to draw on our musical influences and immerse our listeners into each song’s time and place.” – Andy

Bide Your Time follows the release of the EP Hide Your Light, the first of the two six-song collections, released on June 9, 2023. Both were recorded over a three-month span in 2022 at Baker Studios in Saanich, British Columbia. The two EPs will be released as a special vinyl edition on November 1.

“Like many people, I watched far too much television during the pandemic. So much that I can’t remember many of the shows I saw. But there was one show that stayed with me: David Letterman’s ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction’.

He interviewed King of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan in NYC and Mumbai. When Khan walked out on his balcony in Mumbai to thousands of adoring fans, Letterman was amazed that he seemed to be so down to earth and unaffected about it. He told Letterman he considered himself the ‘Employee of the Myth.’ That phrase became the starting point for this tune.” – Josh
