Today, Skydiggers announce the release date for their newest work, Hide Your Light EP, a six-song collection due out on June 9th via Latent Recordings. Pre-save here. The album announcement coincides with the release of the EP title track. Listen here. 

“Hide Your Light” single is a sublime vocal interplay between Finlayson and long-time collaborator Jessy Bell Smith. The new song also features co-producer Joby Baker on drums, bass, and piano, Daniel Lapp on strings and trumpet, and Maize rounding it out on additional vocals.  “This song was written to be a beacon of hope when things around you are looking and feeling bleak,” shares Finlayson. “Hide Your Light”, along with the rest of the songs, including previously released single “Come To My Senses“, were recorded in 2022 at Baker Studios in Saanich, British Columbia, and produced by Baker, along with Finlayson, and Maize. “Hide Your Light” is complimented with an intimate live performance video. The band has a run of upcoming May tour dates, including 4 SOLD OUT nights at The Carleton in Halifax! Details are below. Stay tuned for more new music from Skydiggers!
